Functionality

“We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”

- Winston Churchill

After we committed to stay on Drury Lane, we decided we needed to remodel our not-so-functional split-level home to be as functional as possible to support our diverse passions and daily routines – cooking, entertaining, gardening, working from home, replenishing, and recreating – while maintaining the historic charm of the neighborhood. We wanted a home that encourages healthy living habits as default behavior and includes intentionally planned space with multiple uses and flexibility as well as efficient and resilient systems.
